Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2025

Summary: We use only essential and optional functional/analytics cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences below or in your browser settings.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. In this policy, we refer to all such technologies collectively as "cookies."

2. How We Use Cookies

Postivex uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: To keep you securely logged in
  • Security: To protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks
  • Preferences: To remember your settings across sessions
  • Analytics: To understand platform usage and improve the Service (with consent)

3. Types of Cookies We Use

No cookies of this type are currently in use.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We minimize third-party cookies. However, the following third-party services may set cookies when you interact with their OAuth flows or embedded content:

  • LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit OAuth: Temporary cookies set during the OAuth authorization flow. These are cleared after the OAuth process completes.
  • Payment processors: When you are redirected to Paddle, LemonSqueezy, or PayPal for checkout, those services may set their own cookies per their policies.

We do not embed third-party advertising networks, social share buttons, or tracking pixels on our platform.

5. Your Cookie Choices

Cookie Consent Banner: On your first visit, we display a cookie consent banner where you can choose to accept or decline optional (functional and analytics) cookies.

Browser Settings: You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View cookies stored on your device
  • Delete individual or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies
  • Set preferences for specific websites

Note: Disabling essential cookies will prevent Postivex from functioning — you will not be able to log in.

6. Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We respect DNT signals: when DNT is enabled, we disable analytics cookies and limit data collection to strictly necessary functionality only.

7. GDPR and Cookie Consent

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, we only place non-essential cookies with your prior, informed consent. You have the right to:

  • Accept all cookies, only essential cookies, or customize your preferences
  • Withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies or adjusting preferences in your browser
  • Know exactly which cookies are placed and why

For questions about our GDPR compliance, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@postivex.com.
